About This Program

Desert Recreation District (DRD) is the primary special district providing public parks and recreation programming across the Coachella Valley. DRD organizes seasonal youth sports leagues and clinics — including basketball, soccer, flag football, and multi-sport offerings — out of community centers in Palm Desert, Indio, Coachella, La Quinta, Mecca, Thermal, and other valley communities. Programs emphasize affordability, fundamentals, and broad participation.
