Shelf Road is the most beloved walk in Ojai — a former ranch road that contours the south-facing hillside above town, delivering enormous views over the Ojai Valley to the Topatopa Mountains. It's mostly flat, wide, dog-friendly, and accessible to almost everyone. At sunset, the Topatopas glow pink (Ojai's famous Pink Moment) and the trail fills with locals on the daily ritual.
