The windswept, westernmost Channel Island — Point Bennett's massive seal and sea lion colony is one of the great wildlife spectacles in North America.
San Miguel is the most remote and wind-blown island. Caliche forests, gnarled vegetation, and the hike to Point Bennett where thousands of seals and sea lions haul out from four species — the densest pinniped colony on the planet. Trips run only in summer.
