A hidden grassland valley high above PCH — wildflowers in spring, native bunchgrass, and ocean views from a quiet 8-mile loop.
From the La Jolla Canyon trailhead, climb to one of California's largest remaining native bunchgrass prairies. The loop links La Jolla Canyon, Mugu Peak, and the Chumash Trail with sweeping ocean views, spring poppies, and almost no crowds.
